Pickup stolen from Montana Galloway breeder at NWSS
January 17, 2023
DENVER, CO., January 17, 2023 — Another vehicle has been reported stolen by a NWSS exhibitor, this one a Galloway breeder from Montana.
Harley and Michelle Blegen from Roundup, Montana, have been raising Galloway cattle since 1982 and supplying practical cattle producers with practical cattle. They’ve been displaying and showing the top end of those cattle in the Yards at the National Western Stock Show this week after a snowy, slick trip to the Mile High City.
Their pickup was stolen from the Drury Inn and Suites Denver Central Park Sunday night. It is a dark blue and tan early 2000s model Ford F-350 7.3 Power Stroke with a 6-speed manual transmission. It has a black cow catcher on the front and a Blegen Galloways cling in the back window. It has Montana plates CAN661.
Police located a Ford F-550 stolen out of the same lot, so Blegen is hopeful it will be located. He said he has arranged for transportation for the cattle back to Montana.
