MSU Rodeo Team Selected for Presidential Inaugural Parade

The Montana State University (MSU) Rodeo Team has been honored with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate in the Presidential Inaugural Parade in Washington, D.C., on January 20. Representing Montana in the U.S. Navy section of the parade, the team will join thousands of participants from across the country in this storied national tradition.

A Parade Rich in History

The Presidential Inaugural Parade is a tradition that dates back to President George Washington’s inaugural journey, officially becoming part of the ceremony in 1809 with President James Madison. This year’s event will include more than 7,500 participants from 23 states, featuring veterans groups, first responders, marching bands, and equestrian teams.
