LMA Names Forrest Mangan as Mark Mackey's Successor as CEO

As CEO Mark Mackey’s retirement approaches, we’re pleased to announce his successor has been chosen following an extensive and thorough selection process.

Forrest Mangan, who currently serves as region executive officer serving Alberta, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming, will assume the leadership role Jan. 1.

“We are confident Forrest’s expertise and vision will lead LMA and its members into a strong future,” LMA President Mike VanMaanen said. “His commitment to the livestock marketing industry and deep engagement with stakeholders make him the right leader for our next chapter.”

To ensure a smooth transition, Mangan will begin onboarding and working closely with LMA leadership immediately.
