Cattle Video Market Season Kicks Off at Superior's Corn Belt Classic

Superior Livestock's Corn Belt Classic video auction is underway in South Sioux City, Nebraska, with approximately 74,000 head offered over the two-day event. On Day 1, 36,682 head of cattle sold. The offering consisted primarily of feeder steers and heifers weighing more than 600 pounds. Demand was strongest for lighter-weight cattle, with several steer and heifer lots in the 700-799 pound weight classes bringing the highest prices of the sale.
