New Generation Supplements Welcomes Dr. Paul Davis and Dr. Janna Block to Nutrition Team

New Generation Supplements is pleased to announce the addition of two accomplished animal nutrition professionals to its team. Dr. Paul Davis has joined as Director of Research and Nutrition, and Dr. Janna Block has been named Technical Services Manager. Together, they bring decades of experience in animal science, nutrition research, and industry leadership, reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting livestock producers nationwide.
Dr. Paul Davis comes to New Generation Supplements following an extensive career in feed manufacturing, animal nutrition, and food animal production. In his role, Davis will lead company efforts to enhance the portfolio of research-driven livestock nutrition supplement products.
Most recently, Davis served as the Director of Quality, Animal Food Safety and Education for the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA), where he was responsible for advancing feed safety initiatives, regulatory training, and educational programming across the industry. Before his tenure with AFIA, Davis held leadership positions, including as Director of Feed and Animal Health at Tennessee Farmers Co-op and as President of Appalachian Feeds, LLC.
He is a board-certified animal nutritionist through the American College of Animal Scientists. Davis holds a Ph.D. in Ruminant Nutrition, along with two master’s degrees in animal nutrition/beef cattle management and agribusiness from the University of Florida. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from Tennessee Technological University.
Dr. Janna Block joins New Generation Supplements with valuable experience in beef cattle production, research, and extension education. Block will provide technical support for nutrition and management strategies to the sales team and livestock producers.
Previously, she worked as a technical nutritionist and account manager for Hubbard Feeds. In addition, for more than 15 years, Block conducted research and outreach programs, serving as a Livestock Systems Specialist with North Dakota State University, a Research/Extension Associate with South Dakota State University, and as a County Extension Agent with Montana State University, addressing topics such as beef cattle nutrition, cow supplementation, and fetal programming.
A native of Montana, Block earned a doctorate in ruminant nutrition from South Dakota State University, a master’s degree in animal science, and a bachelor’s in agriculture from Montana State University.

Dr. Davis resides in Lascassas, Tenn., and Dr. Block lives near Midland, S.D. Both are also actively engaged in beef cattle production operations with their families.
